The Balm Bar is a solid moisturiser — no water, no liquid, no airline restrictions. It glides directly onto skin, melting slightly on contact to leave a protective, nourishing layer that’s especially useful in the kind of conditions water sports throw at you: salt air, wind, cold water and prolonged sun exposure.
Made with beeswax and plant waxes, it delivers rich moisture and a light barrier without the heaviness of a cream. Use it on hands, face, lips or any area taking a beating — before you set off, mid-session, or afterwards when your skin needs a quick top-up and you’re still in your wetsuit.
Because it’s solid, it’s exempt from airline liquid rules entirely. It won’t leak under cabin pressure, won’t soften in a warm bag, and doesn’t need a lid that reseals properly when your hands are wet. It simply works.

A friend recommended this to me, who loves to ski in the Alps, I had to give it a try. I love it! It does a good job holding moisture in, and staying on, even in the super dry climate the protection is great. Best hand and foot protection I’ve ever used, and the small tin fits easily in my ski jacket.

Excellent stuff. This is my second tin, and I'll buy more when it runs out. I usually struggle with most products like this, they usually leave my hands feeling greasy and oily and dirty, but this stuff dries, almost like a thin clay or similar, and they feel moisturised without the dirty feeling. And it smells great! It is highly recommended!
Being a sailor and on the water for days at a time, I have really bad dry hands. Super bad.
